Dorothy Jones Award, AMI

In 2025, I was awarded the Dorothy Jones Diversity & Inclusion Achievement Award! I received this award because of my work advocating for disabled people’s inclusion in STEM, and my work on intersectionality in the workplace.

Disability Power 100, Shaw Trust

In November 2024, I was recognised as the UK’s most influential disabled scientist at the Shaw Trust’s Disability Power 100 event! I was also number 6 on the complete Disability Power list. This award recognises my work in Disability in STEM advocacy, and LGBTQIA+ advocacy.

Outstanding Alumni, NTU

In the summer of 2024, I accepted an outstanding alumni award from Nottingham Trent University! This award was presented to me in recognition of my career success in breaking down barriers for those from under-represented groups.

Person of the Year, Sense

In 2022, following a popular blog post about my life as a DeafBlind drag king, I was delighted to be named as Sense‘s Person of the Year! This award celebrates my commitment to inclusion within the drag community and within the STEM community.
